GEPS Budding Entrepreneurs Food and Art Fair 2024-25On the 30th of August, 2024, Green Eden Public School (GEPS) hosted the Budding Entrepreneurs Food and Art Fair, an event organized by the Business Department, students of Grades 9, 10, and I PUC. The fair was an engaging and educational experience designed to provide students with hands-on learning in entrepreneurship and management.The event was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Secretary Mr. Dinesh Kumar M.D., accompanied by Principal Dr. Vedavathi M.V., the next Principal, Secretary, school administrator, dignitaries, along with other esteemed guests, visited each of the art and food stalls, taking a keen interest in the creativity and effort displayed by the students.Following the inauguration, the fair was opened to the students of Grades 1 to 8, who attended along with their teachers. The students enthusiastically visited the various stalls, purchasing delicious snacks and beautifully handcrafted art items made by their seniors. This interaction provided a practical understanding of money transactions for the younger students while supporting their peers' entrepreneurial endeavors.The fair was not only a platform for showcasing talent but also an educational experience for all involved. The organizing students from Grades 9, 10, and I PUC gained valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship, learning about aspects such as business management, customer interaction, and financial transactions. Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2024-25Green Eden Public School celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm. The programme, which began at 10:00 AM and concluded at 11:30 AM, was a vibrant and culturally rich event that brought together students, teachers, and staff in celebration of this auspicious occasion.The celebration started with a warm welcome from the student of Mont 3, followed by the traditional offering of Pooja to Lord Krishna. The Pooja was led by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Vedavathi M V, along with all the teachers, created a serene and spiritual atmosphere in the campus.Ms. Trella skillfully anchored the program, guiding the sequence of events with grace and ensuring that the audience remained engaged throughout. The young students from Mont 1, 2, and 3 added color and joy to the event, dressed beautifully as Radha and Krishna. Their performances included speeches, dances, fashion walk and skit that highlighted the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, capturing the hearts of everyone present.Adding to the festivities, students from Grades 1 and 2 delivered a captivating dance performance, showcasing their talent and bringing the stories of Krishna to life through their expressions and movements.Ms. Savita further enriched the event by explaining the importance of Sri Krishna Janmashtami to all the students, helping them understand the cultural and spiritual significance of the day.The event concluded with Vote of Thanks given by our little Mont 3 student. Independence Day Celebration 2024-25The Independence Day celebration at Green Eden Public School was held on the 15th of August, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The event commenced with anchoring by Anisha and Aadhya of Grade 6, setting a vibrant tone for the day. This was followed by the beautiful rendition of the invocation song "Vande Mataram."The welcome speech was delivered by the Cultural Captain Syed Shahrul Faiz, who extended a warm greeting to the School Secretary, Principal, and School Administrator. Following this, the ceremonial flag hoisting was conducted by the Principal and School Secretary, which was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem and the patriotic song "Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara."The event proceeded with a well-coordinated march past led by the School Prefects, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Discipline Captain, Cultural Captain, and Sports Captain. All the houses—Dylen (Blue), Meridian (Green), Rory (Red), and Juno (Yellow)—participated enthusiastically in the march.Green Eden Public School celebrated not only the spirit of the nation but also the outstanding achievements of its students in various interschool cultural and sports competitions. The prize distribution ceremony was held with great pride, as the Principal and School Administrator presented awards to the victorious students.The ceremony began with an acknowledgment of the students' participation in two major cultural events: the Interschool Cultural Competition held at Vaidehi School of Excellence and the competition hosted by Price International School. Students from Green Eden Public School showcased remarkable talent in these events, excelling in various categories such as dance, music,art and sports. Their exceptional performances earned them winner certificates, medals, and trophies, which were handed out by the Principal and School Administrator. This highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing creativity and artistic excellence.Cultural programmes followed, beginning with a patriotic dance performance by the students of Grade 5, showcasing their talent and dedication. The significance of the day was eloquently explained by Kushitha of Grade 5. The audience was then treated to an outstanding display of group singing and dance performances that further uplifted the patriotic spirit of the event.The Principal's address to the gathering was inspiring and emphasized the importance of unity and dedication to the nation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head Boy, expressing gratitude to all the participants and organizers.
