Lord Ganesha is considered as a god of wisdom and knowledge. He is also referred to as Mangala Murthy, the symbol of prosperity, happiness and welfare. As lord Ganesha brings positivity, we begin every auspicious work after worshipping him.
Ganesha chaturthi is the most colourful festival. It is celebrated with much fervour and joy.
In our GEPS the festival is celebrated by installing lord Ganesha idol at school. The festival commenced with a traditional Aarti and melodious song .Our principal Dr. Vedhavathi also accompanied us. Our Little Champs actively participated in the aarthi and the teacher spoke about the significance of the festival. Every year we conduct clay modelling activities for students. Right from moulding to the final touches, everything is done entirely by the students with the help of our house teachers.
Finally the winners of the house were announced by our beloved principal mam.
