The National youth day is celebrated on 12th January, the birth of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National youth day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year. Swami Vivekananda speeches, quotes and teachings continue to inspire millions. The National youth day is a way of expressing gratitude and remembering the ideas of the great thinker,
Swami Vivekananda who was a true luminary credited with enlightening the Western world about Hinduism. He was an ardent disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa and a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India. The philosophies and ideas of Swamiji reflect in the youth of our country till date. The students were enlightened with the moral ideas of Swami ji.
Our GEPS conducted a World youth Elocution competition on January 13th 2020, for grade 5th ,6th and 7th . The topic was to speak about Swami Vivekananda.
The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the performers and to all the students present there. Every single contestants performed well.
In completion of the last speaker, the judges were invited on the stage to announce the result. The winner was awarded in the competition.
The confidence ,expression and talent of the young ones made the event truly memorable.
Swami Vivekananda teachings and philosophy enlightened the students and showed them the right path to explore their potential.
