The independence day of India which is celebrated dutifully throughout the country on 15th August every year. Independence day is a festival to celebrate freedom. It is an occasion to enthuse new energy by remembering our freedom fighters.
This national day, followed since 1947, was the 73rd year of celebration. The independence day was celebrated at GEPS with great patriotism , devotion, loyalty and happiness. All the children and parents were facilitated to watch the program live. The celebration commenced with flag hoisting by our founder Mr. Devraj, Secretary Dinesh Kumar and Our principal Dr. Vedavathi.
National anthem was sung by the students, teachers and by our parents also.
Children dressed up like great freedom fighters of India and performed dances giving tribute to our motherland.
Teachers provided students with sweets at the end of the program. Students enjoyed the whole day of celebration with their parents and friends at school.
Overall it was a lively sparkling and astonished independence day for everyone.
